In addition to providing general cargo warehousing and related transportation and logistics services, the company began to set up public bonded warehouses supervised by the Hong Kong Customs as early as 1992 to provide customers with storage of unduty-paid cigarettes and spirits and related value-added services. Existing customers include a number of local listed companies, Chinese-funded institutions and well-known international trading companies. Santai Container Lines was approved by the Hong Kong Customs in April 2003 as one of the first batch of “open public bonded warehouse” operating companies in Hong Kong due to its steady and progressive company style, rigorous warehouse management and high efficiency. The company’s warehouse is located in Tsuen Wan, New Territories. With the convenience of the Kwai Chung transportation hub, it only takes ten minutes to reach the Kwai Chung Container Terminal. It only takes about 30 minutes to reach the Hong Kong International Airport via the Tsing Ma Bridge. In the future, it will also be connected to Hong Kong-Zhuhai via Tuen Mun.
